Salesforce Developer - DevOps Strategy:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Salesforce Developer - DevOps Strategy for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Salesforce Developer - DevOps Strategy - Job Description:
The Total Wealth 360 team within Global Wealth Engineering is driving a multi-year digital transformation to deliver a best-in-class Advisor Desktop for Canadian Wealth Management (CWM). To support this journey, the Salesforce Developer - DevOps Strategy will establish and scale DevOps practices across multiple Salesforce orgs, enabling faster, more reliable, and secure deployments.

Salesforce Developer - DevOps Strategy - Responsibilities:
• Define and implement Salesforce DevOps strategy and roadmap
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
• Manage release schedules, environment strategy, and deployment governance
• Partner with development and QA teams to improve deployment quality and speed
• Drive adoption of best practices for version control, testing, and releases
• Monitor and continuously improve deployment reliability and performance
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP/Bulk)

Salesforce Developer - DevOps Strategy - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years of Salesforce platform experience with 3+ years focused on DevOps and release engineering
• Hands-on experience managing Salesforce environments (sandbox strategy, refresh, seeding, and rollback)
• Experience creating and maintaining deployment runbooks and release documentation
• Familiarity with code quality and security tools (e.g., SonarQube, PMD, Checkmarx, Veracode)
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX (SFDX) and metadata-driven deployments
• Strong experience designing CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
• Demonstrating source control (Git/Bitbucket), branching strategies, and version control best practices

Salesforce Developer - DevOps Strategy – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices in Salesforce
• Experience building and maintaining deployment automation frameworks for Salesforce
• Drive adoption of best practices for version control, testing, and releases
• Managing release schedules, environment strategy, and deployment governance

Salesforce Developer - DevOps Strategy – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension depending on performance and finance.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in the office per week.
