Interaction Designer – Mobile Banking – Platform and Security:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Interaction Designer – Mobile Banking – Platform and Security for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Interaction Designer – Mobile Banking – Platform and Security - Job Description:
This role focuses on designing and enhancing user interfaces for mobile banking platforms, with a strong emphasis on platform and security aspects. The project involves creating innovative interaction designs to improve user experience and security features.

Interaction Designer – Mobile Banking – Platform and Security - Responsibilities:
• Understand user interface patterns and behaviors to enhance user comprehension and task performance
• Use visualizations and interactions to support analytic thinking with large data sets
• Facilitate design critique, evaluate interactions for inclusivity, and provide expert advice to cross-functional teams
• Facilitate ideation sessions and collaborative work activities
• Act as the interaction design subject-matter expert for the product design team
• Design artifacts of high complexity to communicate task flows, touchpoints, and behaviors
• Create complex low-fidelity sketches, wireframes, and prototypes
• Facilitate usability testing and participate in research activities

Interaction Designer – Mobile Banking – Platform and Security - Mandatory Skills:
• BA/BS degree in Design, HCI, CS, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing usable interfaces across multiple channels and platforms
• Experience in an applied research setting, integrating user research into product designs
• Ability to articulate design strategy, rationale, and logic
• Expertise with design, prototyping, and research tools such as Figma, Mural, UserTesting.com

Interaction Designer – Mobile Banking – Platform and Security – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• MA/MS degree or certification in Design, HCI, CS, or a related field
• Strong understanding of different research methods and their application during product phases
• Appreciation for 'design thinking'
• Experience working within a large organization and agile environment

This is a 12-month contract position.
