Senior Developer
On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Senior Developer.

Senior Developer Job Details:

1. Analyze existing Northstar solution and understand business requirements
2. Recode application from outsystems to react.
3. Perform QA testing
4. Work with internal team and business partners on solution design.

Deliverables:

1. Completion of the outsystems migration to react for the Northstar application.
2. Updated documentation on solution design

Senior Developer Mandatory Skills:

Core Technical Requirements

• Strong full-stack development experience
• Proven hands-on experience with:
  • React (front end)
  • Spring Boot / Java (back end)
• Ability to work across both front-end and back-end development, not just one side

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to low-code platforms, ideally OutSystems
  • This is a nice-to-have, not mandatory
  • Training will be provided on the internal low-code environment before access is granted

AI Tooling

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools is expected / preferred
• Examples mentioned:
  • Amazon Q (preferred, as it is currently used internally)
  • Claude or similar tools

Integration / Technical Understanding

• Does not need to build APIs from scratch
• Should have a solid understanding of:
  • API connectivity
  • How systems integrate
  • General application-to-database connectivity
• Database work itself is handled by a separate team, but the developer should understand how the application interacts with the database layer
