Manager, Finance Special Projects - IFRS17 Insurance Processes:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Manager, Finance Special Projects - IFRS17 Insurance Processes for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-4 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

Manager, Finance Special Projects - IFRS17 Insurance Processes - Job Description:
This role is part of the Finance & Actuarial Transformation Program focused on IFRS 17 insurance processes. The project involves process streamlining, business requirements, and automation to enhance financial accounting and reporting systems.

Manager, Finance Special Projects - IFRS17 Insurance Processes - Responsibilities:
• Act as a business partner and advisor across financial accounting, performance management, and planning and forecasting activities.
• Own IFRS 17 processes, policies, and day 2 enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT and Actuarial teams to identify financial optimization opportunities.
• Drive program delivery, stakeholder, and change management.
• Lead the enhancement of IFRS 17 metrics, accounting policies, and disclosures.
• Direct development of systems and integration requirements.
• Identify opportunities for finance and actuarial process optimization.
• Support controls, compliance, and SOX governance.

Manager, Finance Special Projects - IFRS17 Insurance Processes - Mandatory Skills:
• Professional accounting or actuarial designation, or advanced degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or Finance.
• 3-7+ years in insurance finance transformation or related fields.
• Knowledge of IFRS and experience with IFRS 17 measurement models.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Manager, Finance Special Projects - IFRS17 Insurance Processes – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with GL/subledger, actuarial valuations, and finance data warehouses.
• Familiarity with Accounting Hub, CSM calculators, and modern BI/reporting tools.
• Financial data architecture experience.

Manager, Finance Special Projects - IFRS17 Insurance Processes – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.

ASAP.
