Procom is searching for a Senior Project Manager - Engineering Risk Assessment (ERA) for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary or Edmonton office. 

Senior Project Manager - Engineering Risk Assessment (ERA) - Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of the Engineering Risk Analysis (ERA) program. The initiative focuses on implementing a standardized, quantitative risk assessment solution across transmission and distribution assets.

Senior Project Manager - Engineering Risk Assessment (ERA) - Responsibilities:
• Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment of technology with business objectives and operational needs.
• Work closely with the OCM Lead to design and execute change management strategies.
• Establish and maintain strong credibility with executives, steering committees, and frontline teams.
• Present project updates, risks, and milestones to executive stakeholders.
• Adhere to governance frameworks and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and variance.
• Collaborate with technical teams, OCM, and business stakeholders to execute project deliverables effectively.
• Lead procurement activities including RFI/RFP, vendor evaluation, and contract execution.

Senior Project Manager - Engineering Risk Assessment (ERA) - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of project management experience across technology programs.
• Expertise in creating detailed project plans, budgets, and resource forecasts.
• Strong proficiency with MS Project, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Risk management expertise (identification, mitigation, resolution).
• Experience managing vendor contracts and SOWs.
• Familiarity with IT governance and structured delivery frameworks.

Senior Project Manager - Engineering Risk Assessment (ERA) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience working in regulated utilities (Electric).
• Experience with risk analytics, predictive analytics, asset management systems, or decision-support tools.
• Experience supporting regulatory or audit-driven initiatives.
• Experience working with environmental or climate-related data (e.g., wildfire risk).
• Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) for reporting, analysis, or stakeholder communications.

Senior Project Manager - Engineering Risk Assessment (ERA) – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract with potential extension.
