On behalf of our manufacturing client, Procom is searching for a 2D Product Visualization Artist for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Carmel, Indiana office. 

2D Product Visualization Artist - Job Description:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented 2D Product Visualization Artist to transform and enhance existing technical product imagery using approved AI-powered tools and Adobe Photoshop. This role involves modifying and refining product visuals while maintaining strict technical accuracy and visual consistency. The ideal candidate will work with complex engineered products and possess a deep understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, shadows, reflections, perspective, and proportion.

2D Product Visualization Artist - Responsibilities:
• Transform existing product images, photography, and rendered assets using approved AI-powered tools and Photoshop to build configuration-specific product-only images on a white background.
• Modify finishes and other product configuration options, lighting, shadows, reflections, and other visual elements while preserving product accuracy.
• Review and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure realism, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
• Ensure accurate representation of product materials, textures, coatings, finishes, and construction details.
• Maintain consistency across large product portfolios through established workflows and quality-control processes.
• Organize and manage digital assets, file versions, and production workflows efficiently.

2D Product Visualization Artist - Mandatory Skills:
• 3+ years of professional experience in product visualization, image retouching, digital compositing, or technical image editing.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including advanced masking and selections, Smart Objects, and non-destructive editing.
• Experience leveraging AI image-generation and image-enhancement tools in a production environment.
• Proven experience working with highly technical, industrial, architectural, manufacturing, hardware, or engineered products.
• Strong understanding of photorealistic image editing and enhancement, material and finish representation, and lighting behavior.
• Ability to interpret product specifications, reference photography, CAD files, and technical documentation.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and process discipline.

2D Product Visualization Artist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with automation and workflow optimization in Photoshop.
• Familiarity with CAD software and technical documentation.
• Understanding of advanced masking, compositing, and retouching techniques.
• Strong visual problem-solving and communication skills.
• Adaptability and teamwork in a collaborative environment.
