Business Analyst:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst for a 24-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Winnipeg office.

Business Analyst - Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to work within a complex business environment. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and documenting business processes, facilitating workshops, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with strategic objectives.

Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business objectives and document detailed business requirements.
• Analyze and document current business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Develop comprehensive business cases outlining costs, benefits, and risks of proposed solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business and technology solutions.
• Create functional specifications and user stories, ensuring they are clear, complete, and feasible for implementation.
• Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes and enhancements to existing systems and processes.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and are fit for purpose.

Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with business process reengineering/improvement projects.
• Proficient in creating functional specifications and user stories.
• Experience in conducting workshops and facilitating stakeholder discussions.
• Ability to mentor junior business analysts.

Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in the public sector.
• Familiarity with SAP FICO.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Understanding of IT and operations alignment.
• Experience in developing training materials for end users.

Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
The assignment length is for a 24-month term with potential extensions.
