On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a BSA/Data Analyst - Databricks x2 for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

BSA/Data Analyst - Databricks x2 - Job Description
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a data focus is tasked with bridging business needs and technical solutions, specializing in data-driven projects and initiatives. The role involves analyzing business requirements, designing data solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of data-centric systems and enhancements.

BSA/Data Analyst - Databricks x2 - Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data-related projects
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for data solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data engineers to define and implement data workflows and processes
• Support the design, development, and testing of data pipelines, integrations, and reporting solutions
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies for data initiatives
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and communications to drive consensus and solution alignment
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance requirements are addressed in all solutions

BSA/Data Analyst - Databricks x2 - Mandatory Skills
• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, with a focus on data projects
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
• Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Data Lake)
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and compliance standards

BSA/Data Analyst - Databricks x2 – Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with financial services or regulated industries
• Knowledge of SQL, data visualization tools, and reporting platforms
• Certification in business analysis or relevant cloud/data platforms
• Experience in Agile and/or Scrum methodologies
