Job Description
Financial Data Analyst and Reporting:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Financial Data Analyst and Reporting for a 5 month contract until October 27th, 2026. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office, moving to 4 days a week TBC.
Financial Data Analyst and Reporting - Job Description:
This role involves supporting Business as Usual (BAU) financial management activities using Clarity. The successful candidate will leverage data to analyze, address, and improve the accuracy of financial transactions for resources deployed to support other segments of the bank.
Financial Data Analyst and Reporting - Responsibilities:
• Extract data from the financial book of record (Clarity)
• Assess data to confirm accuracy of financial transactions, identify discrepancies and causations
• Summarize findings and create a plan to address fixes within the financial reporting cycle
• Lead and coordinate with various stakeholders to implement fixes
• Assess opportunities to improve and streamline the process in future reporting cycles
• Interact with internal stakeholders, resources, and vendors
Financial Data Analyst and Reporting - Mandatory Skills:
• Proficiency in Excel for large data analysis, including formulas and merging files
• Experience with Clarity
• Experience in large organizations
• Strong skills in analyzing financial data
• Process improvement capabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical skills
Financial Data Analyst and Reporting – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Jira
Financial Data Analyst and Reporting – Assignment Length:
This position is contracted until October 27th, 2026, with the possibility of extension or conversion.
