Job Description

Product Owner 

Our client requires a part time contracted resource to provide strategic direction for the product management practice at and to provide operational guidance to the business product management managers.

• Assess the product management role as it currently exists and identify ways to strengthen or clarify the role within the organization, both from a business and a delivery perspective
• Refine the product management practice objectives, considering both strategic and operational outcomes
• Assess the skills of the current product managers and identify improvement opportunities for each person
• Assess the tools and artifacts currently used within the practice 
• Propose a future-state target model for the product management practice with a timeline containing clearly defined goals
• Outline the measures that the product management practice should be using to evaluate its performance

 
Mandatory Requirements:

• Product management experience
• A degree in Information Technology or Business Management
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Product Manager (excluding time as a technical lead, scrum master, etc)

Product Owner Assignment Location

Richmond, BC - part time 2-3 days a week
