Performance Analytics Associate:
On behalf of our Finance client, Procom is searching for a Performance Analytics Associate for a 24-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Victoria office.

Performance Analytics Associate - Job Description:
The Performance Analytics Associate will support BCI’s investment strategy by providing performance measurement and analysis for private markets. The role involves return calculations, benchmark frameworks, and performance reporting for portfolio managers and senior leadership, contributing to the continuous improvement of performance infrastructure.

Performance Analytics Associate - Responsibilities:
• Apply and refine performance measurement methodologies and return calculations
• Lead performance impact analysis and ad-hoc analytical requests
• Investigate and resolve complex return anomalies
• Drive improvements to reporting workflows and data processes
• Evolve existing reports and analytical tools
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects and corporate initiatives
• Provide training and guidance to team members
• Assist with documentation of procedures and processes
• Stay current on industry best practices in performance measurement

Performance Analytics Associate - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in investment performance measurement
• Relevant university degree in finance, mathematics, economics, statistics, or computer science
• Solid understanding of institutional investment portfolios and performance measurement methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Proficient in SQL for writing and interpreting multi-table queries
• Ability to write, validate, and maintain Python scripts

Performance Analytics Associate – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension, particularly the Performance module
• Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Experience using AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot
• Familiarity with Excel VBA for workflow automation
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
