Solution Architect - Pricing:
On behalf of our Retail client, Procom is searching for a Solution Architect - Pricing for a 6-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto or Oakville office.

Solution Architect - Pricing - Job Description:
The project involves designing and governing end-to-end solutions across the retail value chain, focusing on Pricing. The role includes translating business outcomes into secure, scalable, and resilient architectures, partnering closely with product, engineering, data, security, and operations teams.

Solution Architect - Pricing - Responsibilities:
• Lead solution architecture initiatives across supply chain, stores, merchandising, and digital platforms.
• Produce and maintain architecture deliverables, including high-level designs and integration flows.
• Define target-state architectures and transition roadmaps.
• Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements such as availability and security.
• Architect solutions across domains such as supply chain, store technology, and digital & omnichannel.
• Design cloud-first solutions using Azure and/or Google Cloud.
• Participate in and lead architecture reviews, promoting reusable reference architectures.
• Work with various stakeholders to shape solution options and communicate architectural intent.

Solution Architect - Pricing - Mandatory Skills:
• 7+ years in technology with 3+ years in solution or technical architecture roles.
• Experience delivering solutions across retail platforms.
• Strong experience with API-led and event-driven integration architectures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or GCP).
• Strong understanding of security, resiliency, performance, and observability.
• Experience with retail enterprise platforms such as PIM, pricing or promotion engines.

Solution Architect - Pricing – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Data platform and analytics architecture experience.
• AI/ML or GenAI architecture exposure.
• Store edge computing or offline-first architecture experience.

Solution Architect - Pricing – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

ASAP.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite.
