Linux System Administrator:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Linux System Administrator for a contract role. This position is remote with a preference for Alberta-based candidates but open to anywhere in Canada.

Linux System Administrator - Job Description:
This contract resource will backfill an internal senior FTE that will be reprioritized to the Mythos SWOT Team Work - P270019. The project involves maintaining and managing Linux servers, ensuring their optimal performance and security.

Linux System Administrator - Responsibilities:
• Administer and manage Linux servers to ensure optimal performance
• Utilize BASH scripting for automation and task management
• Implement configuration management using Saltstack or Ansible
• Manage virtual environments using VMWare
• Support cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud
• Collaborate with a small team to ensure seamless operations

Linux System Administrator - Mandatory Skills:
• Proficiency in Linux server administration
• Strong BASH scripting skills
• Experience with Saltstack or Ansible for configuration management
• Knowledge of VMWare for virtualization
• Familiarity with Google Cloud services

Linux System Administrator – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment
• Accessibility awareness
• Previous experience in a similar role
