Contract Maintenance Planner:
Procom is searching for a Contract Maintenance Planner for a 12 month contract. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Sunrise office (Fly in Fly out). 

Contract Maintenance Planner - Job Description:
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our operations at the Sunrise Oil Sands. 

Contract Maintenance Planner - Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate all tasks related to maintenance work orders.
• Develop detailed work plans including materials, tools, labor requirements, and estimated costs.
• Prepare complete work packages with task sequencing and required documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and job plan reviews.
• Participate in planning-related meetings within the maintenance management framework.
• Provide planning support for corrective actions and project-related maintenance work.

Contract Maintenance Planner - Mandatory Skills:
• Journeyman Trade Certification.
• Minimum 10 years of industrial experience at the journeyman level.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive experience using a CMMS for maintenance planning (SAP and/or Prometheus preferred).

Contract Maintenance Planner – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience supporting turnaround, shutdown, and outage planning.
• Familiarity with ABSA regulatory requirements.
• Experience acting as an operations liaison on projects.
• Greenfield and Brownfield projects, New Construction, and Management of Change (MOC).

Contract Maintenance Planner – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position for 12 months
