Data Architect:
On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Data Architect for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 1 day a month onsite at our client’s Bellaire, Texas office.

Data Architect - Job Description:
The Data Architect will ensure a high level of data quality across the enterprise by creating and managing sound data management processes. This role involves establishing metadata and registries, standardizing data naming, and monitoring overall data quality. The Data Architect will also sponsor the evaluation and selection of infrastructure components for data management systems.

Data Architect - Responsibilities:
• Lead architecture/design/deployment and technical quality of enterprise solutions spanning multiple technologies
• Research and recommend tools/standards
• Enable synchronization of data across entry points
• Ensure new systems adhere to data management practices and policies
• Lead data warehouse discussions on modeling/integration/solution design
• Create and implement data management strategy
• Enforce validation at point of entry and perform regular data audits
• Coordinate mass data-cleansing initiatives
• Identify and resolve data quality issues and determine root causes

Data Architect - Mandatory Skills:
• Broad IT industry knowledge with depth in multiple areas including application development, servers, networks, and databases
• Familiarity with various operating systems used by Health Plan data processing techniques and practices
• Full understanding of architecting internet and client-server systems
• Process mapping, group presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to a stringent timeline

Data Architect – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with SQL, Qlik, Health Catalyst, Snowflake, and EPIC
• Knowledge of architecting integration and communications platforms
• Ability to apply knowledge of how the industry uses IT to address business challenges
• Understanding of cross-industry trends that impact IT investment

Data Architect – Assignment Length:
Starting out as a 6 month contract with possible extensions/conversion to perm
