Accountant:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Accountant for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Accountant - Job Description:
This role involves providing day-to-day operational support during a parental leave. The Accountant will work on various challenging issues, offering exposure to dynamic and non-repetitive tasks, and interacting with senior stakeholders in a globally recognized company.

Accountant - Responsibilities:
• Deal with various accounting issues and conduct research
• Communicate with stakeholders and write memos
• Participate in regular meetings with auditors and stakeholders
• Conduct quality reviews
• Provide advisory services under IFRS

Accountant - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with IFRS guidance and advising on accounting policy
• CPA designation
• Experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm
• Experience in financial institutions
• Proficiency in MS Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Accountant – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Advisory experience in financial institutions
• Project management experience
• Experience auditing in a bank or credit union

Accountant – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position, with the possibility of extension.

ASAP.

Accountant - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 4 days in the office.
