Accountant:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Accountant II for a 2-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Accountant - Job Description:
The project involves providing day-to-day operational support as a backfill within a compliance-heavy environment. The role focuses on validating transfer forms, processing asset movements, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in high-risk scenarios.

Accountant - Responsibilities:
• Validate transfer forms, including complex and estate-related transactions
• Process asset movements in a high-risk environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Handle detailed reviews of documentation to support successful and timely transfers
• Interact with both internal and external stakeholders
• Spend approximately 30-35 minutes daily in meetings

Accountant - Mandatory Skills:
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting/documentation review
• Proficiency in Macros Excel/data validation
• Tech savvy – MS Office, Excel, Confluence, SharePoint
• Compliance background/KYC – reviewing complex documents
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Accountant – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Banking/Financial background
• Legal background – working with legal documents and reviewing legal paperwork

Accountant – Assignment Length:
This is a 2-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Hybrid, with 4 days in office and work from home on Fridays.
