Accounts Payable Analyst-1:
On behalf of our Aerospace and Defense client, Procom is searching for an Accounts Payable Analyst-1 for a minimum 1-year role. This position is a remote position with a preference for candidates residing in Plantation, Florida or San Jose, California.

Accounts Payable Analyst-1 - Job Description:
The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor statement reconciliations, and supporting accounts payable operations across multiple business entities. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies, approval workflows, and financial controls.

Accounts Payable Analyst-1 - Responsibilities:
• Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices within Oracle ERP, including two-way match purchase orders, three-way match purchase orders, and non-PO invoices.
• Maintain and organize AP documentation and vendor statements within shared filing systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper general ledger coding.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Review invoices for compliance with company approval policies and procedures.
• Partner with business units to obtain timely receiving and approval confirmations for outstanding invoices.
• Manage AP-related email communications and maintain an organized Outlook inbox.
• Support month-end and other accounting activities as needed.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Accounts Payable Analyst-1 - Mandatory Skills:
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience with Oracle ERP.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Advanced understanding of accounts payable processes, including two-way and three-way purchase order matching.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

Accounts Payable Analyst-1 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
• Responds with urgency and professionalism to requests, issues, and inquiries.
• Demonstrates accountability and ownership in resolving challenges.
• Effectively shares information and collaborates across departments.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Accounts Payable Analyst-1 – Assignment Length:
This is a minimum 1-year role with potential for conversion.
