Accounts Payable Processor, MS Excel:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Accounts Payable Processor, MS Excel for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Bedford, Nova Scotia office.

Accounts Payable Processor, MS Excel - Job Description:
This role is focused on the accurate, timely, and complete processing of accounts payable transactions. The position involves identifying and escalating issues for problem resolution and continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement within the accounts payable function.

Accounts Payable Processor, MS Excel - Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable transactions ensuring timely, accurate, and completeness
• Ensure all accounts payable transactions contain valid information for input and identify any discrepancies
• Follow policy and internal procedures/processes ensuring all controls are met and adhered to
• Participate in the identification and resolution of issues and concerns, helping to identify root causes and proposing solutions
• Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by pro-actively identifying, recommending, and helping implement solutions
• Provide consistent and high-quality service within established benchmarks contributing to the achievement of service levels (SLA's and KPI's)

Accounts Payable Processor, MS Excel - Mandatory Skills:
• University or college degree or certificate in Accounting
• 1-2 years’ experience in processing Accounts Payable
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Superior communication in both written and verbal forms
• Initiative, ownership of work, strong communication skills

Accounts Payable Processor, MS Excel – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience working in financial institutions or banking sector
• Experience in SAP preferred (can be trained)
• General aptitude for applications

Accounts Payable Processor, MS Excel – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.
