Job Description

AEM Developer:
Procom is searching for an AEM Developer for approx 11 months. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary or Edmonton office. 

AEM Developer - Job Description:
Embarking on a project to address platform lifecycle requirements, reduce operational risk, and ensure digital channels continue to support organizational objectives effectively. The AEM Developer will play a critical role in the ongoing optimization and enhancement of Adobe Experience Manager platform. 

AEM Developer - Responsibilities:
• Serve as the lead developer for AEM across cross-functional initiatives.
• Define and maintain the AEM product and application roadmap.
• Provide subject-matter expertise on AEM and Adobe capabilities.
• Lead the optimization of Digital Asset Management and Content Management platform. 
• Coordinate platform upgrades, patches, and maintenance releases.
• Engage in daily scrums, status meetings, and technical discussions.
• Lead end-to-end business requirements management for AEM initiatives.

AEM Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience supporting Adobe Experience Manager for enterprise-scale websites.
• Adobe Experience Manager certification.
• Strong experience in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
• Hands-on experience developing AEM components using HTML, CSS, XML, Java, and Maven.
• University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.

AEM Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• React experience.
• Solid understanding of AEM DevOps processes.
• Ability to wireframe AEM components and features.
• Experience with Agile delivery.
• Proven experience working with outsourced vendors and cross-functional teams.

AEM Developer – Assignment Length:
Approximately 11 months. 

AEM Developer - Assignment Location:
Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Hybrid with 3 days in office.
