Business Systems Analyst - Equity Trading:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Systems Analyst - Equity Trading for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Systems Analyst - Equity Trading - Job Description:
The Business Systems Analyst will operate on the equity side of trading, primarily handling trading and post-trade activities such as ticketing and reporting. The role involves submissions for supervisory and regulatory purposes, contributing to the efficiency and compliance of trading operations.

Business Systems Analyst - Equity Trading - Responsibilities:
• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems
• Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
• Collaborate with various teams depending on the project phase
• Support trading and post-trade activities, ensuring regulatory compliance

Business Systems Analyst - Equity Trading - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong data analysis skills
• Working knowledge of equity trading (life cycle of a trade, how messaging works)
• Knowledge level of SQL (1-2 years experience +)
• Working knowledge of FIX messages/specification

Business Systems Analyst - Equity Trading – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with Databrick
• Experience with CIBC equity markets group
• Understanding of AI agents

Business Systems Analyst - Equity Trading – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 1 day in the office per week.
