Job Description
Agile Coach:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Agile Coach for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Agile Coach - Job Description:
The project is part of the epiX Transformation Journey, focusing on driving digital transformation for Deposits, Cash Management, and Channels. The Agile Coach will engage in consulting, education, mentoring, and coaching support for program teams to further agile practices, mindset, and ways of working within a complex and matrixed organizational structure.
Agile Coach - Responsibilities:
• Hands-on coaching of teams to improve Agile maturity, collaboration, and delivery.
• Implementing Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile practices.
• Running daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
• Guiding teams in self-organization and cross-functionality.
• Mentoring Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members.
• Designing and facilitating Agile workshops, training sessions, and boot camps.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to align Agile practices with business goals.
• Supporting the team in navigating work across both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.
Agile Coach - Mandatory Skills:
• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or Certified Agile Coach (CAC).
• 10+ years of experience as an Agile Coach or similar role in software development.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Experience with Agile techniques such as User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
Agile Coach – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Proven excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts.
• Experience in a complex and matrixed organizational structure.
• Ability to influence and inspire others in adopting Agile practices.
• Experience in aligning team-level Agile practices with program and portfolio-level objectives.
• Familiarity with digital transformation projects.
Agile Coach – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.

Agile Coach - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 4 days in office.
