AI Development Consultant:
On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for an AI Development Consultant for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

AI Development Consultant - Job Description:
As an AI Development Consultant, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining AI applications. You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver scalable AI solutions that support business initiatives across various sectors, including Capital Markets and Private Investment.

AI Development Consultant - Responsibilities:
• Support business initiatives in developing, maintaining, and improving AI platforms.
• Design and develop efficient, scalable, and reliable software used by the whole organization.
• Integrate data from different sources, including APIs, relational databases, and vector databases.
• Develop full-stack solutions, including web front-end, back-end APIs, and databases.
• Ensure product quality and deployment to different environments.
• Work with AI models to assist and develop predictive analysis and statistical modeling.
• Conduct independent research to find solutions to programming challenges.
• Maintain, monitor, and improve the data science ecosystem, including data pipelines and statistical model development.

AI Development Consultant - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• 2+ years’ experience in business-oriented analytics or software engineering.
• Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL).
• Experience in developing with LLMs and hands-on experience in building AI Agents, RAG models, and working with ML models.
• Full-stack programming experience with React/Angular and Python Flask.
• Familiarity with CICD practices for data engineering projects.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and related services.

AI Development Consultant – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with automated testing.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Passion for problem-solving to support investment decision-making.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Strong desire to work in a team-based and collaborative environment.

AI Development Consultant – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position

ASAP.

AI Development Consultant - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office.
