AI Engineer x 2:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an AI Engineer for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

AI Engineer x 2 - Job Description:
The AI Engineer will be supporting a new AI initiative aimed at internal development for internal users. This project involves designing, building, and deploying AI/ML solutions to enhance business processes and improve decision-making.

AI Engineer x 2 - Responsibilities:
• Develop end-to-end pipelines including data preprocessing, feature engineering, validation, and deployment.
• Fine-tune LLM-based applications using frameworks like LangChain, LangSmith, or OpenAI APIs.
• Deploy models into production using CI/CD pipeline.
• Build scalable microservices or APIs to serve ML models in real time.
• Implement monitoring for model drift, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data requirements.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets using Python, SQL, Spark, Pandas, etc.

AI Engineer x 2 - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Experience with LLMs, NLP, or deep learning.
• Strong knowledge of MLOps tools: MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and model deployment.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

AI Engineer x 2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Banking or financial institution experience.
• Agile experience.

AI Engineer x 2 – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

AI Engineer x 2 - Start Date:
ASAP.

AI Engineer x 2 - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.
