AI Governance Specialist:
On behalf of our utility client, Procom is searching for an AI Governance Specialist for a temporary contractor role. 

AI Governance Specialist - Job Description:
The AI Governance Specialist will support the implementation of AI governance practices across the organization. This involves maintaining AI model records, documentation, and evidence required under the Enterprise AI Policy and Responsible AI principles. The role is crucial for ensuring transparency and accountability in AI usage throughout its lifecycle.

AI Governance Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Lead governance activities for Copilot agents, including conducting Data Impact Assessments
• Register agents in the enterprise AI registry and maintain Model Cards and TEVV evidence
• Conduct risk assessments using the Enterprise AI Risk Framework and classify agents by risk tier
• Monitor agent performance and compliance with TEVV standards
• Validate data lineage, metadata, and quality for AI training datasets
• Act as a subject matter expert for AI governance in project reviews

AI Governance Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of experience in AI/ML, data governance, or related areas
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and data governance principles
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

AI Governance Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Awareness of AI governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF
• Exposure to data cataloging or documentation tools
• Interest in privacy, security, and regulatory compliance
• Basic familiarity with technology controls and audit evidence

AI Governance Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position. 

AI Governance Specialist - Start Date:
ASAP.

AI Governance Specialist - Assignment Location:
Toronto - Hybrid role requiring a minimum of two days in the office per week.
