AI Security Specialist:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for an AI Security Specialist for an 11-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

AI Security Specialist - Job Description:
This role focuses on securing AI systems and their runtime behavior, complementing AppSec and Cloud Security by providing specialized security controls for AI-enabled applications. The AI Security Specialist will define and implement security standards for AI systems, ensuring safe and effective operation.

AI Security Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Define organization-wide security standards and baseline controls for AI-enabled applications and SaaS platforms.
• Establish security controls for LLMs, AI models, agents, and related solutions.
• Design and validate AI guardrails to ensure effectiveness and resistance to various threats.
• Define AI runtime protection requirements for prompts, outputs, and data flows.
• Establish controls to prevent data leakage and unauthorized access.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of AI security controls through continuous testing and monitoring.
• Partner with various teams to implement AI security controls consistently.

AI Security Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience in AI security, LLM security, or cybersecurity engineering.
• Strong understanding of AI models, agents, and related architectures.
• Practical knowledge of prompt injection, data leakage, and AI runtime risks.
• Experience defining and implementing security controls for AI applications.
• Understanding of IAM, API security, and data protection.
• Ability to translate AI security risks into practical security requirements.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

AI Security Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with cloud AI services and third-party models.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATLAS.
• Understanding of NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
• Experience with LLM security tools.

AI Security Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is an 11-month contract with the possibility of extension.

ASAP.

Toronto, ON, Canada. Hybrid position with 2 days in office.
