AML Business Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an AML Business Analyst for a 12 month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

AML Business Analyst - Job Description:
The project involves regulatory reporting projects focused on data analysis, mapping, lineage, and modeling. The role requires working within a leading financial institution, ensuring governance across project pods related to requirements gathering and documentation.

AML Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Lead other Business Analysts to ensure governance across Pods
• Manage requirements work packages for large, high-risk projects
• Develop delivery approaches and work plans aligned with project milestones
• Estimate and manage requirements effort including cost, resource, and timeline
• Manage interdependencies among multiple work streams or projects
• Engage stakeholders to finalize agreement and signoff of deliverables
• Assess change requests and their impacts
• Identify and manage risks and issues
• Document and validate current state processes and capabilities
• Analyze impacts to stakeholders, process, technology, and budgets

AML Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum of 8 - 10 years of Business Analysis experience in Financial Services
• Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering concepts and regulations
• Experience with Transaction Monitoring and Customer Risk Rating applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
• Experience with data analysis, data lineage, and source to target mapping
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Experience using SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence

AML Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• AML sanction certifications
• Experience with regulatory scrutiny frameworks
• Independent thinker with strong business acumen
• Ability to identify process improvements
• Experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies

AML Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 112 month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid work arrangement with 2 days in-office required.
