Analyste Risque de Crédit / Credit Risk Analyst:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Credit Risk Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Montréal office.

Analyste Risque de Crédit / Credit Risk Analyst - Job Description:
The Credit Risk Analyst will be part of the Financial Institutions Coverage group, specializing in the analysis of financial institution clients. The role involves conducting credit analysis, presenting recommendations to credit committees, and supporting risk management functions.

Analyste Risque de Crédit / Credit Risk Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Prepare and present annual credit reviews and new credit requests to Credit Committees.
• Conduct comprehensive counterparty analysis, including financial analysis and credit opinions.
• Analyze capital markets and corporate banking transactions involving regulated funds.
• Coordinate credit risk processes with business and risk management teams.
• Collaborate with the Legal Department on credit-sensitive provisions within legal documentation.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and ensure data quality.
• Stay current on industry trends and risks.

Analyste Risque de Crédit / Credit Risk Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in credit risk analysis or capital markets.
• Strong motivation to learn about derivatives and capital markets products.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating credit decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Analyste Risque de Crédit / Credit Risk Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of capital markets products and related legal documentation.
• Experience in credit analysis of funds within a financial institution.
• MBA, MS, CFA, or FRM designation.

Analyste Risque de Crédit / Credit Risk Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
