API Technical Functional Analyst:
On behalf of our Financial Technology client, Procom is searching for an API Technical Functional Analyst for a one-year role. This position is a remote position with preference for Alberta-based candidates but open to anywhere in Canada.

API Technical Functional Analyst - Job Description:
The project involves supporting the API C4E with the "API Product Progression" and "Integration Acceleration" programs. The role focuses on functionally understanding API Products, development, integration, and security to support teams in creating, selling, onboarding, and supporting these products and workstreams.

API Technical Functional Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Become a subject matter expert in the API Product by understanding the end-to-end business client journey.
• Conduct market research to support the API Product in the discovery phase of new features and products.
• Draw insights from data to suggest product enhancements that will improve the user experience.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to deliver functional solutions, including translating business requirements into formal user stories and technical specifications.
• Manage epics and user stories within JIRA to reflect product strategy and roadmap and maintain high team effectiveness.
• Support Business Solutions and engineering teams in Pre-Sales meetings.
• Support business clients with onboarding to API Product suites.
• Update / Write Swagger and Open API Specifications.
• Document API features and processes using Lucid, and Confluence.

API Technical Functional Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to consult and possess strong people skills
• Ability to create state and process diagrams
• Able to work independently

API Technical Functional Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• 1-2 years experience working in a business or technical role
• Previous experience working as a Functional Analyst
• Previous experience in digital banking, financial technology, or the banking industry

API Technical Functional Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a one-year contract position with the possibility of extension.
