Application Developer:
On behalf of our  client, Procom is searching for an Application Developer for an intermediate role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton office.

Application Developer - Job Description:
The project involves the implementation and maintenance of the ongoing client program. The role requires developing and enhancing applications using C#, Visual Studio, and MS-SQL, with a focus on oil sands operations and regulations.

Application Developer - Responsibilities:
• Liaise with business units to ensure solutions meet ministry needs.
• Write and optimize complex code using C# and Visual Studio.
• Design and implement MS-SQL databases.
• Conduct unit, system, and integration testing.
• Produce technical design and application architecture.
• Coordinate with clients and team members for testing and support.
• Document business processes and applications.

Application Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• 5 years of experience as an Application Developer in a large enterprise IT environment.
• Proficiency in C#, Visual Studio, and MS-SQL Server.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with end-user requirements gathering and documentation.

Application Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Experience with GitHub.
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development tools.
• Experience in the integration of complex IT systems.

Application Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position.

Application Developer - Start Date:
ASAP.

Application Developer - Assignment Location:
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office each week.
