Application Support Analyst:
On behalf of our Financial client, Procom is searching for an Application Support Analyst for a 3-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Montreal office.

Application Support Analyst - Job Description:
The Application Support Analyst is responsible for the daily support and health of the production environment for multiple applications in the APS Functions portfolio. This role involves managing changes, user requests, incidents, and problems while providing functional support and user setup as needed.

Application Support Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Actively monitor production activities
• Perform remediation steps when required
• Interface with external IT communities to resolve incidents
• Work with development community for Level 3 incident escalations
• Log work and effort in support tracking application
• Available for after-hours and weekend support activities when necessary

Application Support Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong database skills (Oracle, MS SQL)
• Unix/Linux hands-on experience with knowledge of day-to-day commands
• Scripting experience (Shell, PowerShell, etc.)
• Experience with scheduling tools (Autosys)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Sysload, Geneos)
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Professional working proficiency in English or both French and English

Application Support Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in Banking/Financial sector
• Knowledge of Core Banking applications and/or data warehousing
• DevOps knowledge
• Global financial products knowledge
• Project management skills

Application Support Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 3-month contract position.
