Application Support Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking Technology client, Procom is searching for an Application Support Analyst for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Application Support Analyst - Job Description:
The project involves building and migrating CI/CD pipelines into a new environment, transitioning from Jenkins to GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes and modernize automation workflows.

Application Support Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Manage and optimize automated application deployments across multiple environments
• Monitor system health, performance metrics, and alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues
• Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to identify root causes and implement preventive measures
• Continuously evaluate and improve systems, processes, and tools
• Participate in the on-call rotation for application support
• Support AIOps initiatives to reduce manual intervention and improve operational intelligence

Application Support Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 5-10 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Application Support environments
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience with Azure, OpenShift (OCP), and containerized environments
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions
• Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and automation tools
• Knowledge of file transfer protocols, networking fundamentals, and application security best practices

Application Support Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Banking industry experience
• JavaScript or other scripting/automation experience

Application Support Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

Toronto, ON, Canada. This position is hybrid with 1 day in the office weekly, plus an additional onsite requirement every third Friday of the month.
