Applications Architect - Senior- Cloud:
On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for an Applications Architect - Senior- Cloud for a 7 month contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Applications Architect - Senior- Cloud - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical government project with the Labour and Transportation Cluster, specifically focusing on the MLITSD 360 platform architecture. The project requires the development and implementation of cloud solutions utilizing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, with a preference for Azure experience.

Applications Architect - Senior- Cloud - Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement solutions to the public cloud
• Lead microservice architecture and delivery leveraging containerized platforms
• Design solutions using microservice architecture on a container platform
• Work as an architect using Agile delivery methodologies
• Engage with platforms such as Mid-Tier and Mobile

Applications Architect - Senior- Cloud - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with public cloud solutions, especially Azure
• Leadership role experience in microservice architecture
• Proficient in Agile methodologies
• Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
• Skilled in containerized platforms

Applications Architect - Senior- Cloud – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Tanzu platforms
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Background in government projects
• Familiarity with the Labour and Transportation sector

Applications Architect - Senior- Cloud – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position from September to March 2027.
