Applications Architect - Senior-Maximo:
On behalf of our public sector client, Procom is searching for an Applications Architect - Senior-Maximo for a 12-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Applications Architect - Senior-Maximo - Job Description:
The primary focus of this role is on a critical project involving Cloud transformations and ERP systems integration, specifically centered around the IBM Maximo suite. This position involves both platform upgrades and new development initiatives within a public sector environment.

Applications Architect - Senior-Maximo - Responsibilities:
• Define the overall structure and interrelationships of applications, ensuring reusability and quality metrics.
• Develop, implement, and manage cross-platform applications in a distributed environment.
• Monitor system interactions and define limitations and requirements for source code.
• Define interactions between application packages, databases, and middleware systems.
• Lead enterprise-wide Cloud transformations and manage Cloud adoption and infrastructure strategies.

Applications Architect - Senior-Maximo - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development or systems engineering.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with the IBM Maximo suite, including versions 7.6 and 9.1.
• Experience in a technical advisory role within the utility industry.
• Proficiency in Cloud adoption, Infrastructure As Code (IaC), and both private and public Cloud systems.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with business partners, leadership, and vendors.

Applications Architect - Senior-Maximo – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with stakeholder communication methodologies.
• Strong process management and controls to minimize risk exposure.
• Experience in enterprise architecture deliverables.
• Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments.

Applications Architect - Senior-Maximo – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
