Applications Architect - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for an Applications Architect - Senior for an 11 month contract role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Applications Architect - Senior - Job Description:
This new role involves a critical project focused on enterprise architecture documentation. The project will run from July to October 2027, with the potential for extension, and requires exceptional analytical and communication skills.

Applications Architect - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Define the structure and relationship among solutions, including re-usable components and quality level metrics.
• Develop, implement, and manage solutions in a large and distributed environment.
• Define interactions between application packages, databases, and middleware systems.
• Develop enterprise architecture deliverables and documentation.
• Guide projects through Enterprise Architecture Governance, providing technical oversight and guidance.
• Assist with Discovery Phase work for One-Card and digital credentials.

Applications Architect - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Knowledge and experience creating Business, Solution, and Information architecture documentation.
• Experience with Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools or solution architecture modeling tools.
• Leadership experience in the development and implementation of solution architectures.
• Extensive experience with applications, operating systems, and database technologies.
• Experience in structured methodologies for application design, development, and implementation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Applications Architect - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design techniques.
• Experience developing enterprise architecture deliverables based on Ontario Government methodologies.
• Knowledge of Information Management principles and practices.
• Experience designing detailed functional and technical requirements.
• Experience leading multi-tier application infrastructure design and configuration.

Applications Architect - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position from July to October 2027, with the possibility of extension.

ASAP.

Applications Architect - Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
