Applications Developer - Intermediate:
On behalf of our Capital Markets client, Procom is searching for an Applications Developer - Intermediate for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Applications Developer - Intermediate - Job Description:
The Applications Developer - Intermediate will work on EDSF Trading, a Capital Market application that processes Fixed Income, Derivative, and non-Derivative trades. The role involves modernizing legacy applications and developing end-to-end data and integration solutions using Azure technologies.

Applications Developer - Intermediate - Responsibilities:
• Analyze highly complex business requirements and generate technical specifications.
• Design or redesign complex software components and applications.
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
• Assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met.
• Provide detailed technical designs and development of applications.
• Convert business requirements into programming instructions.
• Conduct impact analysis and organizational needs assessment.
• Develop, review, analyze, and modify programming systems.
• Provide support for existing production applications and recommend enhancements.

Applications Developer - Intermediate - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong experience modernizing legacy applications.
• Hands-on development experience with Azure technologies (ACA, ADF, ADB, Power BI, Function APPS, APIM).
• Experience building end-to-end data and integration solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of application development tools and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in large-scale project deployment.
• Experience following iterative and agile SDLC.

Applications Developer - Intermediate – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in financial institutions.
• Exposure to data migration, cloud transformation, or modernization programs.
• Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Critical thinking and adaptability.
• Team player with strong communication skills.

Applications Developer - Intermediate – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position with potential for extension.

Applications Developer - Intermediate - Start Date:
ASAP.

Applications Developer - Intermediate - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Hybrid model with 1 day in office per week.
