AS400/iSeries Developers x2:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for AS400/iSeries Developers for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

AS400/iSeries Developers x2 - Job Description:
The role involves supporting current projects, including multiple regulatory and modernization initiatives that require additional development support. As a senior AS400/I-series developer, you will be responsible for the management, development, security, and maintenance of applications on AS400 systems, collaborating closely with other teams to meet client needs and improve operational processes.

AS400/iSeries Developers x2 - Responsibilities:
• Work closely with our product team to bring customer requirements to life
• Collaborate with other team members to quickly deliver solutions that translate business needs into technical outcomes
• Constantly challenge the status quo and uncover defects and deficiencies
• Find ways to improve operational delivery

AS400/iSeries Developers x2 - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum of 7 years of experience on AS400
• Applied experience with technologies/languages such as RPG/LE, COBOL/400, SQL, Query/400, QM Query, ASC Sequel, CLP/CLLE, MQ, Data queue, JIRA, Service Now, SFTP, IFS, DB2/400, TAATOOL, RDI, and Arcad
• Experience with the Waterfall/Agile/Scrum approach and knowledge of JIRA
• Ability to solve problems independently and creatively
• Experience in problem analysis, data mapping, use case modeling, and documentation
• Commitment to deliver quality customer service and products
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment, leadership, and ability to take initiative

AS400/iSeries Developers x2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Banking experience working as an application developer

AS400/iSeries Developers x2 – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

AS400/iSeries Developers x2 - Start Date:
ASAP.

AS400/iSeries Developers x2 - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days in the office.
