Associate Dispatcher I:
On behalf of our Utilities client, Procom is searching for an Associate Dispatcher I for a contract role. This position is onsite at our client’s Evansville, Indiana office.

Associate Dispatcher I - Job Description:
The role involves monitoring, dispatching, and load balancing work orders to field personnel. It includes responding to information requests and facilitating communication between customer service representatives and field personnel.

Associate Dispatcher I - Responsibilities:
• Answer the telephone and perform call-ahead requests for field technicians.
• Receive and dispatch non-emergency work orders to support daily and emergency operations.
• Dispatch orders via Mobile Data and Dispatching Solution.
• Monitor, route, and document work orders to service technicians; review backlogged work orders.
• Coordinate daily operational requirements between internal and external stakeholders.
• Resolve scheduling concerns between the Call Center, customers, and supervision to achieve optimum results.
• Act as liaison between the company, customers, and state and local governmental agencies in an emergency situation.

Associate Dispatcher I - Mandatory Skills:
• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of experience with SAP or a mobile data dispatching system.
• At least one year of experience in or supporting gas distribution operations or equivalent dispatching experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle scheduling and resolve conflicts.
• Proficiency in using technology and dispatching solutions.
• Problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Associate Dispatcher I – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in a customer service role.
• Familiarity with gas distribution operations.
• Knowledge of business and financial acumen.
• Ability to provide coaching and development.
• Experience in a similar dispatcher role.

Associate Dispatcher I – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.
