Auditor – Fraud/Operational Risk Management:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Auditor – Fraud/Operational Risk Management for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Auditor – Fraud/Operational Risk Management - Job Description:
This role involves analyzing and mitigating fraud risk across the enterprise, ensuring robust fraud governance and internal controls. The Auditor will coordinate with various audit groups and stakeholders to manage audit requests and develop remediation plans, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
Auditor – Fraud/Operational Risk Management - Responsibilities:
• Analyze data and synthesize insights impacting fraud risk mitigation priorities and roadmap.
• Coordinate with audit groups and stakeholders during audits to ensure timely action and remediation.
• Provide visibility and updates on resolution of open audit items across global markets.
• Report to senior leadership on status, risks, and mitigation strategies, escalating issues proactively.
• Lead and support execution of operational risk and compliance program requirements.
• Represent Fraud in risk and control self-assessments of various departments and processes.
Auditor – Fraud/Operational Risk Management - Mandatory Skills:
• 8–10 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, Fraud Risk Management, or Internal Audit in financial services.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with Power BI and data analysis/reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, controls testing, and governance practices.
• Experience preparing and presenting findings and recommendations to Senior Management.
Auditor – Fraud/Operational Risk Management – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Knowledge of emerging fraud trends, digital fraud, and cybersecurity-related controls.
• Experience with regulatory examinations or interactions with regulators.
• Knowledge of automation, advanced analytics, or data visualization platforms beyond Power BI.
Auditor – Fraud/Operational Risk Management – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension and conversion to full-time employment.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid arrangement with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
