Auditor:
On behalf of our Energy client, Procom is searching for an Auditor for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Houston office.

Auditor - Job Description:
The Auditor will join the Internal Audit team to support a variety of internal audit assignments, including risk and control assessments, financial, operational, and compliance audits. The role focuses on improving company operations and processes to help meet strategic and business objectives.

Auditor - Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and executing risk-based audit and advisory reviews
• Perform audit testing and document work performed
• Support issue identification through data analysis and documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate risks and identify process improvements
• Draft audit deliverables, including audit scope and reports
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Assist in preparing the annual audit plan
• Utilize automated analysis tools to support audit activities

Auditor - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field
• 1-3 years of experience in audit, accounting, finance, or related disciplines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of internal controls and business processes
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Analytical mindset with data analysis capability

Auditor – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• MBA, CPA, or CIA certification or plans to pursue
• Experience in public accounting or the utility industry
• Experience with SAP, IDEA, Tableau, and TeamMate+
• Understanding of technology enhancements in company operations
• Experience in quality assurance or compliance

Auditor – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with potential for conversion.

Auditor - Assignment Location:
Houston, Texas, United States. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days in the office, with the potential for remote work on Fridays.
