Automation Developer - Senior
On behalf of our Government client, Procom is searching for an Automation Developer - Senior for a 6 month contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto office.

Automation Developer - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical project focused on test automation development. The project requires the development and execution of automated tests using advanced tools and frameworks in a DevOps environment.

Automation Developer - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Identify opportunities for automation within software processes
• Design and execute QA tests using scripts that automatically test functionality
• Utilize test automation frameworks and write automation scripts
• Investigate software problems as a result of testing
• Work with QA analysts and software developers to find solutions
• Provide advice on testing strategy, test plans, and the selection of testing tools

Automation Developer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Extensive experience with automated test tools like Microsoft Playwright in a DevOps environment
• Experience with performance testing tools such as J-Meter
• Extensive experience with ReadyAPI/Postman
• Extensive experience in test automation development
• Proficient in Cloud technology, Agile & DEVOPS
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills

Automation Developer – Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge and experience in at least one programming language
• Experience with AODA Compliance Audit tools
• Experience testing Commercial Off-the Shelf Applications (COTS)
• Experience with mainframe tools such as TSO/SPF
• Experience with .NET platform

Automation Developer – Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.
