Automation Developer - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for an Automation Developer - Senior for a 12 month contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto office.

Automation Developer - Senior - Job Description:
The Automation Developer - Senior will focus on identifying opportunities for automation within software processes to enhance efficiency. The role involves designing and executing QA tests using automation scripts and frameworks, investigating software issues, and working collaboratively with QA analysts and software developers to find effective solutions.

Automation Developer - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Identifies opportunities for automation within software processes
• Designs and executes QA tests using scripts that automatically test functionality
• Designs and writes test automation scripts
• Utilizes test automation frameworks
• Investigates problems in software as a result of testing
• Works with QA analysts and software developers to find solutions

Automation Developer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or WebDriverIO for UI testing
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
• Experience with version control and CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
• Solid understanding of test frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Mocha) and BDD tools (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow)
• Ability to analyze manual test cases and identify areas suitable for automation

Automation Developer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Prior OPS or public sector experience

Automation Developer - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position.

ASAP.

Automation Developer - Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is onsite with 5 days onsite required.
