Automation Test Lead - Ansible Automation Platform
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Automation Test Lead - Ansible Automation Platform for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Automation Test Lead - Ansible Automation Platform - Job Description:
The project involves designing, building, and operationalizing enterprise automation using the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. This role is part of the Automation Centre of Excellence and focuses on delivering scalable, secure automation across hybrid infrastructure environments, including migrating legacy automation platforms to Ansible Automation Platform.

Automation Test Lead - Ansible Automation Platform - Responsibilities:
• Configure, manage, and support AAP components including Automation Controller and Private Automation Hub.
• Design and maintain Ansible roles, collections, and playbooks for infrastructure provisioning.
• Support platform operations including troubleshooting and incident response.
• Integrate AAP with enterprise systems like ServiceNow and credential management platforms.
• Support migration of legacy automation platforms by translating provisioning logic into Ansible playbooks.
• Implement automation aligned to CIS benchmarks and internal security standards.
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of workloads on VMware vSphere and/or Red Hat OpenShift.

Automation Test Lead - Ansible Automation Platform - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or automation.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform.
• 5+ years of experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• 5+ years of experience automating Linux and Windows environments.
• Proven experience with VMware vSphere and/or OpenShift Virtualisation environments.

Automation Test Lead - Ansible Automation Platform – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in large-scale automation transformation programs.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, and Tenable integrations.
• Strong understanding of CIS benchmarks and enterprise security practices.
• Experience contributing to enterprise automation standards.
• Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCE, EX374 – AAP Development & Operations).

Automation Test Lead - Ansible Automation Platform – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of extension and conversion to FTE.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Hybrid, requiring 2 days in the office per week.
