AWS Cybersecurity Specialist:
On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for an AWS Cybersecurity Specialist for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

AWS Cybersecurity Specialist - Job Description:
This role focuses on providing comprehensive AWS cybersecurity solutions, including cloud security architecture, identity and access management, and threat detection. The project involves securing client systems, workloads, and data to support secure cloud adoption and operational resilience.

AWS Cybersecurity Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Lead and support AWS cybersecurity engagements from assessment to operational handover
• Assess AWS environments against security leading practices
• Design and implement AWS security controls
• Support secure cloud architecture reviews
• Provide engagement management support
• Contribute to business development activities
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity & Privacy teams
• Develop AWS cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps
• Conduct risk assessments and security reviews
• Develop and maintain AWS cloud security policies
• Lead and mentor cybersecurity professionals
• Monitor AWS security risks and provide guidance
• Engage senior stakeholders and clients

AWS Cybersecurity Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS security experience
• Experience securing AWS services across various platforms
• Proven experience leading cloud security assessments
• Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and standards
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification

AWS Cybersecurity Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Master's degree considered an asset
• Additional AWS certifications
• Previous consulting or client-facing experience
• Experience leading project teams
• Mentoring junior cybersecurity professionals

AWS Cybersecurity Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

AWS Cybersecurity Specialist - Start Date:
ASAP.

AWS Cybersecurity Specialist - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office/client site and 2 days remote.
