AWS Developer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an AWS Developer for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

AWS Developer - Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Developer to join a collaborative and teamwork-oriented group. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions using AWS services and modern frameworks. This is a new role, part of a Business As Usual (BAU) project, providing exposure to new technologies and interactions with various groups within BMO.

AWS Developer - Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications on AWS
• Build backend services using Java
• Implement scalable backend services and APIs leveraging AWS services
• Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React and Angular
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services and AWS infrastructure
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow best practices for cloud deployments

AWS Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years of development work experience with Java
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience with HTML, SCSS/CSS, JavaScript
• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, SQS, CDK)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/EKS)
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment

AWS Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of security best practices in AWS
• Experience in the Banking/Financial industry
• Using AI tools for coding and automation
• Ability to translate user needs into technical specifications
• Experience working independently on complex tasks

AWS Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position.

AWS Developer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in the office.
