Azure Cloud Solutions Architect:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Azure Cloud Solutions Architect for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Azure Cloud Solutions Architect - Job Description:
The project involves infrastructure projects within corporate spaces, focusing on developing and maintaining architecture frameworks. The role requires designing both on-prem and cloud solutions to support the business and technology strategy needs of the organization.

Azure Cloud Solutions Architect - Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing and developing architecture frameworks, including technology domain architecture strategy, policies, guiding principles, and standards.
• Work with the team and other technology partners to understand security standards and risks, and ratify solution security design.
• Research and analyze business requirements to recommend optimal architecture solutions.
• Review and approve detailed solution architecture and design to comply with architectural and security standards.
• Contribute to project plan development, manage projects and initiatives, direct assigned resources, and communicate project status.
• Participate as an expert and consultant on projects of moderate to high risk and complexity.
• Help develop a Requirement Traceability Matrix for end-to-end traceability.

Azure Cloud Solutions Architect - Mandatory Skills:
• Infrastructure Architecture experience
• Azure experience
• Experience with Linux and Windows
• Experience with JBoss, NodeJS, Springboot
• Database experience – Oracle RAC, OCaC, MS SQL, Mongo, Cassandra
• Storage experience – SAN, DAS & NAS
• Network experience – DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, CDN Technologies

Azure Cloud Solutions Architect – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Prior experience with banking Architecture
• Azure Solution Architecture Certificate

Azure Cloud Solutions Architect – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2 days onsite.
