Azure DevOps Engineer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Azure DevOps Engineer for a 15-week role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Azure DevOps Engineer - Job Description:
The Azure DevOps Engineer will be responsible for leading the migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise, while adding new features to the DevOps pipeline in both platforms. This role involves enhancing the DevOps infrastructure by implementing new deployment strategies, including Databricks deployment.

Azure DevOps Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Lead the migration initiatives from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise
• Serve as SME for deploying Azure solutions supporting web applications, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks
• Design and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
• Standardize pipelines, automation frameworks, and deployment governance
• Embed security and governance into DevOps practices
• Implement logging, monitoring, and operational observability

Azure DevOps Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise
• Proven experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Experience defining reusable deployment templates and DevOps standards
• Hands-on experience with ARM templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI/Databricks CLI
• Strong understanding of Azure identity, secrets management, access control

Azure DevOps Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Strong understanding of source control strategies, pull request workflows, and release governance
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting migration from ADO to GHE
• Experience with Databricks deployment
• Previous Banking experience
• Change management experience

Azure DevOps Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position with potential for extension.

ASAP.

Azure DevOps Engineer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid work model with in-office requirement on Thursday and the 4th Friday of the month.
