Benefits Administrator:
On behalf of our HR services client, Procom is searching for a Benefits Administrator for an 8 month contract role. This position is 100% onsite at our client’s Austin, Texas office.
Benefits Administrator - Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Benefits Administrator to support the day-to-day administration and delivery of employee benefits programs across North America. This role serves as a key resource for employees, vendors, payroll, finance, and HR teams, ensuring benefits programs are administered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations.
Benefits Administrator - Responsibilities:
• Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, employee assistance programs, wellness initiatives, and leave of absence programs.
• Maintain accurate employee benefit records and ensure timely processing of enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Serve as a primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external benefits providers, brokers, and carriers.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits eligibility, enrollment, coverage, claims, and plan provisions.
• Audit benefit deductions and payroll-related benefits transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Support employee wellness and wellbeing initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between employees, managers, HR, payroll, and leave administrators.
Benefits Administrator - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience administering employee benefits programs.
• Strong knowledge of health and welfare plans, retirement programs, leave administration, and benefits compliance requirements.
• Experience working within a shared services or HR service delivery environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Benefits Administrator – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or related HR certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Canadian benefits administration is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and relationship-building abilities.

This is an 8 month contract.
