Bilingual Claims Support Specialist:
On behalf of our Insurance client, Procom is searching for a Bilingual Claims Support Specialist for a 3-month role with a possible extension up to 12 months. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Bilingual Claims Support Specialist - Job Description:
We are seeking Claims Support Specialists to support a high-profile claim processing initiative. Independent contractors in this role will work both autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced, structured team environment to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient claims processing, while also responding to claimant inquiries with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to service excellence.

Bilingual Claims Support Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, email, faxes, and phone communications
• Enter, review, and verify data from electronic and paper forms into a standard database
• Scan, file, and store sensitive materials securely
• Answer incoming calls in a professional and empathetic manner
• Prepare and send notifications regarding claim status and review decisions
• Tackle short term and longer term special projects
• Triage, assign, and resolve client or internal inquiries submitted via ticketing systems
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Respond to incoming calls with empathy and professionalism

Bilingual Claims Support Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• 1+ year of experience communicating with clients/patients/stakeholders over the phone
• Experience in data entry
• Bilingual English/French
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience using a VOIP/Internet phone service

Bilingual Claims Support Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of Indigenous culture
• Ability to speak an Indigenous language (i.e., Cree languages, Inuktitut, Ojibway etc.)
• Experience managing claims over the phone
• Emotional resilience in managing difficult conversations
• Experience in claims coding and quality checks

Bilingual Claims Support Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a 3-month contract with a possible extension up to 12 months.
