Job Description
BMO is currently sourcing for a Bilingual Facilitator, Wealth Management Learning & Financial Literacy.
This is a hybrid contract role primarily virtual with occasional in-person delivery and travel across Canada (approximately 1 day in office or in-person sessions per week).
Role Overview:
This role supports wealth management learning programs and financial literacy workshops, delivering mostly virtual training for new and developing wealth management employees. It also includes facilitating select in-person workshops for clients and their families. The position plays a key role in enhancing knowledge and engagement across diverse audiences, contributing to the overall effectiveness of wealth management education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual instructor-led training for new investment advisors, sales assistants, and wealth management support staff.
- Facilitate engaging sessions using MS Teams and virtual classroom tools, including whiteboarding and multimedia.
- Lead occasional in-person workshops and learning sessions as required.
- Support financial literacy programming for ultra high net worth clients and their children, including youth and young adults.
- Adapt delivery style to suit different learner groups, from internal employees to client-facing audiences.
- Provide feedback on training content and identify opportunities to improve learner engagement and program effectiveness.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support scheduling, delivery readiness, and participant experience.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
- Strong background in wealth management, ideally with experience as an Investment Advisor or related advisory/support role.
- Proven facilitation experience in virtual and/or in-person learning environments.
- Proficiency with MS Teams and other virtual delivery tools.
- Ability to engage diverse audiences and create interactive learning experiences.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for in-person delivery.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience delivering training, workshops, or coaching programs.
- Instructional design, program consulting, or content improvement experience.
- Experience facilitating financial literacy or client education programs.
- Strong executive presence and ability to deliver a high-touch, high-quality learner experience.
Ideal Candidate:
- Credible wealth management practitioner with recognized industry experience.
- Strong facilitator capable of building trust quickly with varied audiences.
- Comfortable shifting between corporate learning delivery and client-facing educational sessions.
- Engaging, polished, and confident presenter for both internal and external audiences.
